Online Counseling in Texas
high quality care when you need it, where you need it.
Some of our clients have always loved this option. Some have been skeptical in the past. Honestly, we were too at first. Then COVID happened...
and we had to get people the care they needed more than ever!

Turns out, virtual therapy is awesome! We were pleasantly surprised with the result. Both clients and therapists are able to feel the genuine connection we previously thought you could only get from in-person work.

To top it off, it also saves you time on your commute - no more sitting in Dallas traffic! With commuting troubles now in your rear-view mirror, scheduling
flexibility has improved for those with a typical 9 to 5.

We offer online counseling anywhere in Texas including west Texas, Highland Park, Plano, Richardson, Lake Highlands, and the greater Dallas area. Schedule a virtual session and participate from the comfort and safety of your own home - or maybe in a quiet park under the trees?
How Does Virtual Therapy Work?
It's very simple! We provide you with a secure client portal.

On the day of your appointment, all you have to do is log into your portal and click the link to join the secure teletherapy session. No additional software is required.

Access your online counseling session from any cellphone, computer, or device with a camera.
HIPAA, Privacy, & Security
Our client portal and billing software is completely HIPAA compliant and secure.

Your therapist will be working from a confidential space as well.

Just be sure you have a private spot on your end.
All therapists on staff offer HIPAA compliant and secure virtual sessions for anyone within the state of Texas.
Virtual Therapy FAQ
Is online therapy as effective as face-to-face?
So far the research shows that online counseling is equally as effective as in-person therapy. Based on our personal experience, we 2nd that!

That being said, virtual therapy isn't for everyone. There are some cases where online therapy is not appropriate - like those with a higher risk for suicide. Additionally, some clients simply prefer in-person counseling. It really comes down to personal preference.

Feel free to give it a try; if you don't like it, you can always switch!
What are the advantages of online therapy?
No commute? Sold! If you live in the city, you know what we mean. Forget the traffic, grab a blanket & a warm cup of tea, & we'll see you on the net!

Online counseling makes mental health care more accessible to those in rural areas of Texas, clients with mobility issues, or those without transportation (don't worry teens, you'll get your license one day!).

We've been working virtually with LGBTQIA+ clients for over 10 years. Finding an LGBTQ or gender identity therapist can be challenging, especially in Texas small towns. Virtual counseling brings LGBTQ therapists directly to our rainbow folks from anywhere in Texas.
Who is virtual therapy good for?
To our fellow homebodies who want to chill on their own couch and hang in their PJ's. Teletherapy can be beneficial for most people, though we have found it particularly helpful for:

- Those with busy schedules that need the convenience of home.
- Stay at home moms/dads who need to remain close to the little ones (puppy parents included!).
- Transgender clients who aren't ready to brave public spaces.
- LGBTQIA+ clients in rural areas of Texas & without access to specialized care.
